A broad range of Carbon Disulfide materials are available for use as accelerators, cross-linkers, curatives, and polymerization modifiers in the manufacture of products such as tires, hoses, belting, gaskets, and other rubber products.  Specialty monomers and dispersants are also offered.

Dithiocarbamates

React-Rite NBz 20

Sodium dibenzyldithiocarbamate. React-Rite NBz 20 is a 20% active solution in water. Commonly used as a water-soluble "shortstop" in free-radical emulsion polymerization. Easy to use, and does not require dispersion or emulsification.

React-Rite NDB 47

Sodium dibutyldithiocarbamate (SDBC). Aqueous solution used in NR, SBR lattices. Initiates 90-100 degrees C. Peptizing agent. Shortstop in polymerization. Sequestering agent for heavy metal ions. Approved for use under FDA 177.2600.

React-Rite NDBC

Nickel dibutyldithiocarbamate. 100% active or dust suppressed 98-99% active nickel dibutyldithiocarbamate powder. Known as both an antioxidant/antiozonant and secondary accelerator. React-Rite NDBC is easy to use and soluble in chloroform, gasoline, and toluene without requiring dispersion or emulsification.

React-Rite NDE 25

Sodium diethyldithiocarbamate. React-Rite NDE 25 is a 25% active solution in water which is used as a water-soluble "shortstop" in free radical emulsion polymerization. The product is easy to use, and does not require a dispersion or emulsification.

React-Rite NIB 40

Sodium diisobutyldithiocarbamate. React-Rite NIB-40 is a 40% active solution in water. Known as a water-soluble "ultra accelerator" for use in natural and SBR lattices. Easy to use, and does not require dispersion or emulsification.

React-Rite No. 5

Activated liquid dithiocarbamate. React-Rite No. 5 is a general purpose accelerator for natural, SBR, nitrile, and neoprene latexes. Ratio of use with ZnO allows good control of cure rate and pre-cure.

React-Rite No. 9

Activated liquid dithiocarbamate. React-Rite No. 9 is a primary accelerator for natural, SBR, nitrile, and neoprene latexes. Lower pre-cure rates for dipped goods.

React-Rite RR-100

Dimethylcyclohexylammonium dibutyl dithiocarbamate. Very fast, low to room temperature accelerator for latexes, cements, and proofings. Good aging performance. Approved for use under FDA 177.2600.

React-Rite TDEC

Tellurium diethyldithiocarbamate. React-Rite TDEC is a 100% active or dust suppressed 98-99% active powder. Known as an "ultra-accelerator" for natural and synthetic rubber. Easy to use and soluble in chloroform, gasoline, and toluene without requiring dispersion or emulsification.

Zinc dibenzyldithiocarbamate. React-Rite ZBz is a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator for NR, IIR, SBR, and EPDM. Also used as a primary or secondary accelerator for natural and synthetic latex. Excellent accelerator in gel and non-gel latex systems. Provides longest pre-cure resistance of zinc dithiocarbamates when used in latex. Approved for use under FDA 175.105, 177.2600.

React-Rite ZDBC

Tetraaklylthiuram disulfide. React-Rite TATD is a fast curing ultra accelerator and sulfur donor for NR, SBR, R, NBR, and EPDM. Identified to have outstanding high temperature aging properties when used as a partial replacement for sulfur. Proven to have improved scorch safety, high elongation and freedom from bloom. Use as a TRGS 552 non-nitrosamine forming alternative.

React-Rite TBUTD

Tetrabutylthiuram disulfide. React-Rite TBUTD is a liquid with 100% active, fast curing primary or secondary vulcanization accelerator for NR, SBR, NBR, and chloroprene rubbers, and a curing agent/sulfur donor.

React-Rite TBzD

Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide. React-Rite TBzD is a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator for NR, SBR, and NBR. Use as a TRGS 552 non-nitrosamine forming alternative. TBzD features longer scorch times than TMTD and is safer to process.

React-Rite TETD

Tetraethylthiuram disulfide. React-Rite TETD is a fast curing primary or secondary vulcanization accelerator for NR, SBR, NBR, and cure modifier in chloroprene rubbers (retards G types, accelerates W types). Free-flowing, 100% active, with low water solubility and low vapor pressure.

React-Rite TIBTD

Tetraisobutylthiruam disulfide. React-Rite TIBTD is a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator for NR, SBR, NBR, and chloroprene. Known to promote metal adhesion. Used as a TRGS 552 non-nitrosamine forming alternative to TMTM and TMTD.

React-Rite TIBTM

Tetraisobutylthiuram monosulfide. React-Rite TIBTM is a fast curing ultra accelerator of EPDM, SBR, NR, and Nitrile. TIBTM may potentially replace TMTD, TETD, DPTT, TMTM, TBZTD, and some dithiocarbamates. When combined with sulfenamide accelerators, increases cure rate and scorch safety beyond that of the sulfenamide alone. Use as a TRGS 552 non-nitrosamine forming alternative.

React-Rite TMTD

Tetramethylthiuram disulfide. React-Rite TMTD is a fast curing primary or secondary vulcanization accelerator for NR, SBR, NBR, and cure modifier in chloroprene rubbers (retards G types, accelerates W types). Free-flowing, 100% active, with low water solubility and low vapor pressure.
